Support for Pupils and Staff and Parents.

Awareness of mental health issues has grown in the education sector, and the importance of schools, colleges and universities to support students, staff and parents. The numbers of pupils struggling with various mental health problems that might be due to trauma or poverty, or connected with the challenges that arise from being neuro-diverse is increasing. Educational institutions can feel overwhelmed by the scale of need and their limited means to answer it; the waiting list for CAMHS is long, and many children and young people are without the means to access private therapy.

That is where I can help.

I would be able to set up a therapy service for your school, within its safe-guarding framework. Depending on budget, I would be able to come in once-a-week for an agreed period of time, and build up a service, drawing on my own experience of working in schools.
